Any idea why can't we use 120V (like Canada)instead of 240v in India?
To distribute 120 V is more expensive then 240 v as the wiiring in your house has to be twise the thickness and copper is expensive which is used to make wire.

Anyway thanks for that imp information. So we use invertor /convertor to use Canadian appliances (electronics) there or vice cersa. How does that work?
