CD's

Can anyone suggest good places to visit during Spring/early summer
before the higher summer rates take over?

Pls do not restrict only around Toronto or Ontario but if there are good options in other provinces like Quebec, N Scotia, N Brunswick etc.

Also, suggestions for good places to stay in cottages for a weekend getaway would be good as well.

can we all contribute to this post by sharing our experiences during traveling in Canada, and make this post sticky, so that in near future who ever wants to plan a trip can refer this post and decide where to go.....

as every time u want to plan a fun trip either near by or far ..either for a day or two or week..we dont know where to visit...

we only visited near by Toronto till now...
1. Niagara fall- one day or two- good place to visit, also visit niagara on lake,
http://www.niagarafalls.ca/about_niagara_falls/maps/major_attractions.asp

2. African Lion Safari-one day-great place to visit in summers for a day with kids

3.Marine land-great place for a day, a bit expensive tickets,kids will love it .

4. peterborough lift locks-one day- good place for picnic.also visit reptile museum

5. Algonquin Park and near by places-one day or two- good place during fall colours and summer camp. for boating, camping cycling

6. cruises-one day- there are couple of cruises near by Toronto..depending upon ur time.

Toronto itself-Centreville island(great place for a day with kids/without kids),royal Ontario museum, Ontario science center, black creek village, Ontario place, Canada's wonderland, Toronto Zoo, Cullen Gardens.

I think the question is incomplete.

Things missing are like:

Travel within Canada or outside too?

Travel by land or air or sea? or a combination?

Number of days?

For family or for single or for couple?

etc. etc.

How about the CN Tower? Or is that too obvious and too much under the nose for Torontonians?

The Path- I spent a whole day in here once just wandering around. Supposed to be the largest underground shopping/eating area on the planet.

Club hopping downtown in T.O.?

Singhdom? (Malton and surrounding areas)

Just cruising around GTA?

Niagara Falls?

New York City?

Atlantic City?

Detroit?

We have talked about Toronto and then moved out of Canada.

Can folks share their experiences or suggest about places outside of GTA but within Ontario or include places in other provinces like Quebec, Nova scotia etc?
