Don't worry about Flight Delay, It is the responsibilty of the airlines to get a connecting flight if the time between two flights is not enough.

Get a phonecard for her and get her to dial toll free, so u can be informed of any delay etc.

When we came for the first time, we were supposed to land in calgary, but missed our connecting flight in London (UK) and had to fly London-Ottawa-Calgary

Your information esp reg the calliung card is handy but she s already in the flight ... Hope others can benefit from it.... Buy a card .. scratch the no. , pass it on to the visitor from India and the person can call you from most Canadian Airports dialing the calling card s number for that city and then using the code you would have provided earlier... convenient.
