shopping around for Car insurance

I am shopping around for my car (Mercury Sable 2000) insurance at ON, having a five years good driving records at north America (US), I am not getting good rate, only for liability it is going to cost me @ 150 $/month. Is this is normal? Or I can get better than this?

try statefarm, they recognize the US driving history provided you show all the documents. Still 150 can't be considered expensive as the full coverage may be just about another 20.
I've also heard Johnson Insurance works better.

I got a great rate from StateFarm and that too I was a new driver.. If you are keen PM me and I can give you the agent's contact details..

Johnson requires a minimum one year of 'G' driving experience. Just keep that in mind before calling them.

state farm is gooood, i have my car n motorcycle insurance with thm. thy gave me really good quote even though i'm new driver..well i mean was new driver whn i started with them.
