If an woman becomes pregnant after medical tests are done and now wants to land in Canada before she gives birth. Will canadian immigration officials allow her landing as permanent resident?

Is a pregnant woman, who has received immigration visa allowed to land? Please reply

yes, she can land without any problem.

But make sure that you buy your health coverage because in some provinces it takes up to 90 days to health coverage to kick in.

Though one can buy private medical insurance to be on the safe side in case one falls sick but it will not cover any pre-existing conditions like pregnancy.

Definitely! Getting pregnant is no crime to de-barr anyone from landing / immigrating. Also, there are some community clinics who give FREE medical attention to general health of pregnant women while they wait for the provincial coverage to start. I am not sure about any complications though.

My wife was pregnant when we landed and we had no problems whatsoever (except she felt sick due to the long travel).

Good luck!

Hiren
