A couple of notes -
1. It is not easy to "expedite" your appointment.
They rarely agree to do so, and only for medical emergencies, family emergencies, etc.
You have to have a *very* good reason for the expedited appointment
2. You should book whatever earliest date you are finding now, however, be on the lookout for cancelations.
For example, if you are traveling on Sep 24th, and the earliest appt. you are finding is 20th Sep and you don't want to cut it that close, go ahead and book the 20th for now.
Then keep checking back on the website for any cancelations for earlier dates, almost on an hourly basis.
You might get lucky and get something a lot sooner.
All you would lose is the booking fee for the first appointment, which is $15 I believe.
