Hi All,
I have Canadian PR status and I need to get the US Visa to attend a business conference in the New York. The conference is scheduled on Sept 25, 2007.
I am wondering what class of visa I should apply, and whether I will get a visa in so short time span.
Thanks,
MG.

Puttoo,
Thanks. A few follow up questions. I tried calling that number from different phone systems but it seems the number is not working.
1. Do I have to apply for B1/B2 visa online, before I call them to expediate my appointment?
2. Previously, I had a 6 month B1/B2 visa, which expired about an year ago. Does that mean I have to apply for a renewal and not for a new visa?
3. I initiated an application through the online visa reservation system, but I am getting the following message: 'There are no appointments currently available. Toronto allows visa appointment bookings only up to 6 weeks in advance. All appointments have been booked for the next 6 weeks. Appointments are added regularly, please revisit the site to confirm availability for future dates.'
Thanks,
MG.

How often do I have to visit the website to get an appointment?
Though the next 6 weeks are pack, I have 10 days before Sept 25, for the visa appointment.
To increase your chances of landing a spot , you should visit every day (preferably early morning)
