I started a thread a couple of weeks back about areas of improvment on CD, especially from a moderation perspective. Was hoping for more participation, but still got some really good feedback.
I wanted to also get your feedback on what is positive about CanadianDesi that keeps you coming back. You guys are the engine that keeps the forum running and I'd like to hear from you first-hand on your positive experiences with CD that prompt you to visit regularly and/or recommend CD to others.

Apart from what Ashwani said, mine is as follows :
1. Sharing of how others desi's manage to live in Canada and their experiences in dealing with the realities of living in Canada
2. real time current deals that you maynot know otherwise (laptop deals, furniture deals, survey that pays moeny)
3. Information about Canadian immigration, Indian counsulate, OCI, PIO and how this affects indo Canadians/ PR Card holders.
4. Making desi friends , networking capabilities from a desi standpoint.

I second what TK said and at it's very basic level, CD is entertaining! It's also a platform for us to vent, share our stories, ideas and discuss world issues...almost like you're having a conversation with (online) friends...

The best thing about CD is: One Family, One motive - helping each other, selflessly.
The way CD members discuss the topics, argue, e-fight, realize mistakes, apologize and let go is really laudable.
Another good thing I like is: CD is very clean forum. Members are very professional and they know their limits.
Moreover, Mods' hard work and constant watch keeps it clean and 'family friendly'. GG, BL and other mods, your work is highly appreciated.

Hi, I'm a regular reader and sometimes pool in my views too. The best thing of CD is its topics, the range is huge and one can have an idea from life in Canada to Malls, to visas, to bollywood, almost on everything. Even if the topic being discussed is not of my immediate use, I remember it to search in case the need be.
The forum members are really helpful.
