Hi Cdn_dude,
Thanks for your information.....
I went through http://www.health.gov.on.ca/english/public/pub/ohip/wait.html and found more information on this issue.
[1]
As per it If Canadian PR is moving out for more than 30 days in first 6 Months from the day they got residency status in ontario ---- the waiting period to reactivate will be 3 months.
[In this case I counted like We are outside for 15 days in first 6 months, so this doesnt apply ...... I also lived 172 days hence the limit of being physically present 153 days in ONTARIO also doesnt apply.]
[2]
If Canadian PR travel for more than 212 days in each 12 months period OHIP coverage stops.
[ I think I will be able to manage send my wife in Canada before 212 days in travel period ]
QUESTION:
========
I am not able to understand from when to count 12 months period.. Is it like for every year .. like in 2007, 2008. or from the day I leave Canada..
I wanted to share this information so everybody can get an idea.
Thanks Cdn_dude for giving more n more inputs to help me on this issue.
