All,
I have apointment for US Visitor Visa on 5 th Feb. I am a PR of Canada since last 6 years ( Indian CitiZen). I am employed with good salary. I want to Visit US just for shopping . I have no immedeate reletaive or friends in US. My wife & children will be acconomying me do not need a visa as they have become Canadian Citizen.
My questions are what to write in DS-156 /DS-157 about Contact Persons/Orgarnisation in USA ( Addresss & Phone no. etc).
Should I just leave it blank as I will be visiting for a day or two & staying in some hotel/motel? Shold I try to find some of my distant relative & put his name & address?
All advice are welcome.

Just say that you are travelling for tourism and shopping. What do you want to get into trouble of finding distant relative and then at border you will asked number of Q about that distant relatives. Where he lives? What he does? What is his phone #? Is he married? How many children he has? and so on. And if he is living (say in California) then why are you driving through Buffalo? Why did not you take the flight?
Are DS156, DS157 and DS158 forms need to filled up for Visitor visa to USA regardless of age ?
Are these forms mandatory or optional?
DS156 is a mandatory and needs to be filled online and it is printed witha Bar code.
Can it be reprinted if we after printing to correct few mistakes?
Shall be grateful if some one clarify about the same.
