I have a quick question about USA visit visa, I am a canadian citizen and my spouse is a PR, she recently came to canada about 2 months ago and has a temporary job thru agency. We are planning to visit Florida, USA for a week vacation. I would like to know what are her chances of getting a visit visa, and what documents are required for visa. Can some expert please provide there expertise and advise ASAP? Thanks. Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
Most likely she will receive a visa since this seems to be a straightforward situation. However, nothing is guaranteed.
For the list of docs required and the process, visit the US consulate webpage and read for the full list of requirements for a visitor visa.

A good job letter is a MUST ( saying that she is currently employed ). The letter should avoid words like "minimum wage, temporary, part-time .....
A nice covering letter saying brief details about both of your trip, purpose, when you will be going, where you will be going, how you will going, where you will be staying and when you will be back etc .... does the trick. ( don't make a lengthy letter ).
Thanks everyone for the quick reply, I really appreciate it.
Does anyone know how long it takes to get her the actual PR card in mail? She completed 2 months already but has not received the actual card yet. Please reply. Thanks.
Just get a job letter and attach to the application. No need of any covering letter.
For PR, who is employed, getting a US visitor visa is a cake walk. She would get the 10 years multiple visit by default.
Don't lose your sleep over it.
Does she needs a PR card to apply for her visa? she has not received her PR card its been 2 months already. Please advise. Thanks.
