I, my wife and our 3 year old daughter are appyling for Indian visitor visa for the first time. I and my wife became canadian citizens last month only.
Indian visa form is as confusing as it can get. Can somebody please answer following questions from their first hand experience (there are no clearcut instructions anywhere on the website about the following):
1. Do we need to fill separate application form for our daughter or just mentioning her name in my and my wife's application form is enough?
2. We are applying visa for 6 months only. What should I specify in No. of entries - Single or can I specify Multiple too?
3. We'll be sending 3 canadian passports and 2 Indian passports (for cancellation). Should we include one big enough Express post envelope or do we have to include 3 envelops i.e. one for each family member?
4. Finally there is confusion about tourist and entry visa - which one we should apply - tourist visa ($62) or entry visa ($123) for 6 months.
Thanks in advance

1. Separate application forms.
2. You can specify multiple. They usually issue multiple.
3. One envelope is good.
4. $62 CAD
Visit VFS Global website at in.vfsglobal.ca for all info. They are the agents managing the visa applications and that is where you'll send your application.
Also, ensure you have followed instructions on either picking up the passports or having them mailed out to you.

Thanks dimple2001 for your helpful responses and thanks for the vfsglobal link.
I tried calling vfsglobal. When I told them that I am applying from Calgary, they suggested me to contact CGI Vancouver and find out if CGI is accepting visa applications and if yes I was suggested to send it directly to CGI Vancouver, if not then she said I could send it to vfs service centre in Toronto.
CGI Vancouver as expected does not answer the phone.
Anybody applied from Calgary - throw some light please? Where did you send your applicaton to?
Dimple2001, where did you apply from?
Thanks,

As viggy stated, Vancouver CGI seems to be accepting applications directly. I am in Windsor under Toronto jurisdiction, hence had to go through VFS. VFS is right now available in Toronto (2 locations) and Winnipeg, MB for those locations that come under these three locations' jurisdictions.

Thanks viggy and dimple2001 for your replies.
I am also guessing that CGI Vancouver is still accepting visa applications but VFS person told me yesterday to still confirm it from CGI Vancouver and if they are not accepting, send it to VFS Toronto. Nobody answers the phone at CGI and extending the same logic, I am pretty sure that nobody bothers updating the website either. The link to download visa applicaton form on CGI Vancouver's website is anyways broken. So I am having my doubts. I just want to be doubly sure if they still accept visa applications before sending passorts to them. Never thought it will be that hard to figure out where to send the application but I guess as is rightly said in TV program 'Dekh India Dekh' on Sony as one govt. servant rightly puts it everytime somebody asks her to do anything - "Sarkari karamchari hoon, time to lagega" :-)
I did send email to them couple weeks ago about the download link being broken but didn't get any reply. May be I should have my expecations set right. "Sarkari karamchari hain, time to lagega" :-).
But I am pretty confident that India will indeed be a developed country by 2020 though I guess nobody will work towards it untill 2019 and then suddenly they'll realize - Oops we were supposed to be developed by 2020 but then somebody will remind us - "Sarkari karamchari hain, time to lagega" :-)
Anyways, I'll be very grateful if somebody can tell from their first hand experience in Calgary or Alberta, where did they send their visa applications to.
Thanks,
vagg
