Hi there,
Me and my family are landing in June, would like to know what kind of clothing is recommended during the period of June,July and August in Ontario. Also would like to know what will be the temperature (Avg) in the day and in the night? does it dip very low in night?

I'm guessing you'll be landing in GTA.
Check this link for average temps. Night temps generally don't dip drastically in summer.

In terms of clothing - light clothing. Short's & t-shirts would be great

Ontario is a strange province. We are either too cold or too hot.
May end to Spetember would be terribly hot, around 30-33 deg. cent in the day time and 20 -25 deg. cent. by night. In the day, Humidity would make you feel very uncomfortable (in the 40 deg. cent range). Nights would be horribly sweaty and you will either need an Air conditioner or 2 fans (one directed at your head and the other at your body ) to keep you cool.
I would suggest that you bring light cotton cloths for the summer. Most Canadians are skimpily dressed during this period but I would suggest that you fully cover your body with light coloured, thin, cotton cloths. The reason being that we have a lot of UV rays during the day in this part of the world and it may darken your skin upon prolonged exposure besides making you venruble to Cancer. Large quanities of sunscreen are also recommended.
Hope this helps.

Footnote : In Winter, the dress process reverses, and hence you have to be fully covered with thick cloth material, with jerkins, mittens, scarf, long johns, wollen socks, winter boots, cold cream etc...
