There are a few clauses that are worth noting: Such as No smoking. No Pets. No noise pollution after 22:00 hrs. No nails in the wall. No unauthorised repairs or modifications etc., Other serious ones are No subletting. Damage deposit requirement. First and the Last month's rental up front. 60 days notice requirement for the closure or the renewal. No renewal of lease and there are a whole gamut of them and only a few that are worthy of note. One of them is the annual rent increase as per the Rent Control Act.
