Nope. Had been there before and prices were over the roof.
Where I meant was downtown Kitchener at the intersection of King and Frederick.
It closes around 2:00 pm. If you go at 1:45 pm, everything is atleast 75% less when compared to the original price. You may not get the freshest ones but is worth the prices.
For eg.
Grapes : 50 cents a pound. ($2 a pound original)
Cherries : $ 1 a pound ( $3 a pound original)
Brockoli : $1 a bunch ( $2 a pund original)
Spinach - Big bundle $1 ( $2 a pound original).

I was of the opinion that buying in bulk saves money but apparently not always.
we bought $1 bag of potatos and $1 bag of onions but they had quite a few stale ones and being a small family and less consumption thereof, they stayed for about 3 weeks and i had to throw them out finally!
After that, I go for fresh produce weekly but for other things, I still go for buying in bulk whenever there is a good deal around.

Can nyone suggest the cheapest place to buy rice/dsld/atta in mississauga...

I used to get Basmati rice for 8-10$ per pound.. Now lowest price i see is 12-13$..

Non Basmati rice is hard to find and the price diff is about 1$

Any suggestions for good place to get rice in Brampton..
