Hi Mr. Massood,
I got a letter from New Delhi CHC, stating that i need to write an IELTS examination and i have to send my original mark list to them at the earliest. They haven't mentioned any time frame for this.
Once if secured band 6, it's enough for them? What's the minimum band score?
What would be the next process after sending my IELTS mark list to CHC? And what would be the time schedule for them to process my papers after that?
Applied on: Aug 2002
I would be appreciate if you could suggest me in this situation.
Thanks in advane.
Rgds,
Sai Manikandan

Refer here to calculate your language points:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/qual-3-1.html#IELT
If CHC has asked you to take IELTS, then it means they cannot assess your language abilities without that proof.
If you do not send it pronto, then either you will get 0 points for language or your application can be rejected because of being incomplete.
I will suggest take the IELTS ASAP and send the *original* *sealed* transcript to CHC.
The next step will be for them to assign you language points based on your score.
Then the application will proceed as usual.
For now, your application will be on hold till you provide the evidence asked for.
Hope this helps.
