Hi guys,
I had applied for PR Visa through New Delhi Embassy.
Sent Application - July 31, 2003
Got File No. - Nov 15, 2003
Thereafter no response...
I sent my IELTS 7.0 Band score in December 2004 but still no response...
can anyone tell me how much time they take even after sending IELTS score ?
Anyone got PR Visa applied in 2003 ???)
Hi,
I applied at new delhi high commission in Nov 2003, with 7.5 bands (avg.)
I got my A.O.R within 15 days. I was very happy that things are moving
very fast. After that I have not recieved any information. (15 months approx).
Seeing this site, you will come to know that even processing of 2002 files
has not started yet . The minimum time specified by CIC is 36 months.
So if we are lucky we can expect some news by end of 2006 or it may
even take more time (36 months is the minimum as of now).
Keep guessing , you never know whats next. i may be wrong.

And by the time you guys get your visa, you might see Canadians wanting to migrate to India, or Indians starting to go back for the big buys back home

Hi chandresh,
I know what you are wanting to say. Its not our foolishness to wait impatiently for immigration. Actually grass is allways greener on the other side.
There are so many people who are very happy to be india and there are
even more people who are frustrated and unhappy to be in india.
Same way there is a mixture of happy and unhappy people in canada.
To be more prcise, jis ne khush rehna hai woh har jagha khush reh le ga,
orr jis ne dukhi rehna hai woh har jagha dukhi rahe ga.
Please dont take any thing personally.

Nothing personal....you are kush in India? Then why you have frustration waiting for immigration.
If you are not kush in India, does above statement imply to you too??

Let me take a moment to request you, and other new members, to please use more meaningful subject lines for your posts.
Your subject line - Awaiting Response - does not indicate the content of your post and most members will probably not read it.
Instead, if your subject line were something like "Timeline Question from New Delhi CHC", or "Applied in 2002 in New Delhi - Awaiting Response", it will indicate the content of your post better.

Thanks.
