First Immigration Application or IELTS???

Hello Dear Experts…

I am Indian…currently residing and working in Germany. I did my master studies from Germany and want to apply soon for my immigration visa for Canada….I am not hiring any lawyer ….want to do the process by my own…

Just a question:

According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/ my points are 70, providing that I have High Proficiency of English Language. Does someone advice me for IELTS???....Should I go for IELTS now or I can write IELTS afterwards (what time would be good to write IELTS??)….So please respond to my post so that I can start the process asap.

Hello baalu,

When evaluating your point counts, if you have work experience after your Masters study, then you will come up with more points and may find the IELTS redundant.

But scoring a high level is easy at IELTS with your level of educational background and there are people who will provide you with excellent coaching for peanuts to achieve that level. That will give you even more points to add.

It is upto you now to re-evaluate your needs and the requirements and see if it is worth it, as your experience and background is unknown to us here, to provide you with such advice.
