Today at Seneca College at markham campus, I paid for parking and kept receipt on my deshboard. Still somebody gave me a parking ticket for $37.
How to fight this situation? If I dont pay till 29th june, the fine will reach to $67.
I already wrote a letter to them with proof. If they disagree how do i fight with them and what is cost involved in it.
I shown my receipt and ticket to security at seneca, he said inspector might have made mistake in reading AM / PM.

Just heard today(24 June 2008) on John Oakley (radio)show on AM 640. Many guys have rigged the parking meters. As soon as you leave the spot, they'll come and take the Loonies/quarters out. The host of the show himself got a ticket. Went to check it out with the city and was told that many people have complained about similar incidents and his ticket was withdrawn. Just to be aware if you want to park downtown where they have curbside meters.
