Dont worry at all about changing your program when u reach here.

Suppose you got admission in program B (1yr). You will get a study permit valid for 1 yr from airport when u reach here. Your 1 yr visa is just for travel purposes, basically its the study permit that allows you to study in canada not visa itself.

Now suppose you change your program from B to A which is of 2 yrs duration. college will have no problem doing it. they will be more than happy as they are getting more money. Now you will have apply again for extension of your study permit (within canada) once you get into your new program. your college councillors will also help you in getting your study permit extension.

And its not big deal ...you will get it for 2 yrs and once you finish your your 2 yr course you will get 3 yr open work permit...... so relax ....welcome to canada

well, according to new rules,
if you get visa for College B for 1 year. When you reach here, you can change the college and get the admission in any college and in that case you don't have to inform CIC(Immigration) in case of changing course or college. Only, when you are applying to renew your visa after 1 year, you would have to show the Report card from so and so college
