Well, you can go to Niagara at any day except Long weekends and Canada Day, as other desis mentioned.. traffic is awful during these days and it can take anywhere from 3 to 6 hours to reach Niagara... it is not worth. But still if you want to go.. I have a suggestion take Service road where ever possible(it runs paralel to QEW) sometime it can cut your traveling time into half.
