I wonder why anybody want to see movies online on a 24"(?) computer screen. I enjoy the entire theatre going experience, sitting in theatre in dark and watch the story unfold on big screen.
Even on DVD
- 7 days DVD rentals are <$5
- Public library provide free DVD. You can book them online
DVD players are not that expensive these days.
Just strictly IMHOs

Agree. I can't even settle for an excellent VHS copy. DVD is the absolute minimum. I haven't tried blue-ray yet, because I know I won't be able to come back to DVDs

I think the main concern of this post was how to download the movies. I also see no point in watching the movies online infront of the computer screen.
I download all movies (almost 6-7 per month) from LIMEWIRE which is a P2P program. All the movies comes in excellent quality & there is a actually comments on the file which can give you a idea of quality & virus on those files. Only download the files which have good comments & you are ready to burn those files on a DVD & watch it on TV.
I pay around $16 every 6 months & I can have 10 hosts to download the movies which maximum takes 2 hrs for the whole single movie. You can download 10 movies together & depending to your internet connection it might take you upto 3-4 hrs for all 10 movies in DivX format. You can even use the free version where in you only get 3 host & might take you 8-9 hrs for the whole movie to download.
