Vow ..thnks a lot for info .. I didnt realized that there are DVD's and blu ray tech out already with a superior quality ..Seems that I must be interacting more ..

DVD players are not that expensive these days.
Just strictly IMHOs
Depends totally on an individual's choice of entertainment. Once could ask how can one settle for a music system at home which cost only $1000 - $2,000 when reasonably good speakers alone cost about 1-3K.
Moreover, many a times I would not like to sit in a big hall with others when I want to watch a movie alone with no disturbance of people talking or the noise of pop corn.
And then, I sometimes connect my computer to my Elite plasma and a fantastic home theater and sit on a easy chair with an ottamon with a cool baileys in my hand, sipping it gently - something that I will not enjoy in a theater.
