Hi,
I just have a few question, my brother summit the parent sponsorship application on May 2008 in Mississaugafor CPC for our parents and 3 dependant children. On june he received a letter saying that they received the application. It doesn't have a file #, just my brother name and address. My parents lives in USA, so I guess after they approve the sponsorship application in Mississauga they send it to Buffalo to the visa office right?
1)So what is going to happen next?
2)When does they ask for medicals?
3)Approximately when do we are going to have a file number, so we can check our case through the E-CAS??
4)Please tell me how long it might take for the process to be completely done?
5)Separate fron the Mississauga processing time how long does it takes for the Visa Office here in U.S.A (NY) to process the rest??
IF THERE ANYBODY WHO KNOWS THE PROCESS AND WHO HAS ALLREADY APPLIED FOR SPONSORSHIP WHO PARENTS LIVES IN USA, PLEASE TELL ME THE TIMELINE!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!

The processing time for parents and grandparents, which was limping forward painfully by a few days the last few weeks seems to have ground to a halt
Can anyone shed any light, please?
