The Star VOI show winner for 2007, Ishmeet Singh passed away in a drowning incident at a maldives hotel (he was there for a show). Very shocking and sad news. I feel so sorry for the family, he was very young (19).

He surely was a star and a good voice. However, besides everything his demise is the biggest loss for a family. Loss of someone of this young is really really shocking.
Now my question is why the hotel didn't have any life jackets or life guards etc.? How can they play with the life of human beings. I am saying this because I myself don't know how to swim, and when visit the hotel pools or go to river rafting, I am always provided with the life jacket.
However, he was the jewel and a really good singer. May Almighty God rests his soul in peace, and give courage to his family members!
It is very very sad. May God give peace to his soul.

He did not know swimming. Something really fishy here. Looks like he was lured to the deep water level.

I agree to what is shared here, even I had the same doubt when I read this news.
May god rest his soul in peace.

Whenever you experience joy, peace, security, equanimity or purity, it is only because you are aligned with ALMIGHTY.
I couldn't believe when I saw this news yesterday night. He was simply a inspiration for youngsters. He left his studies to win the singing competetion and won...it takes lots of efforts and time to reach at the top and he did it at the age of 19 only. After winning the competetion, he had recorded one Gurbani CD.
Yes, there might be some fishy how it happened.
May god give rest to his soul and this world will always miss him.
