Question : How do you clean your "tawa" here ? I mean back home I saw them using bricks or foil (medicine wrap) but what you do here and how often ?

If you are using Indian style aluminium tawa, then you can use steel wool
(You can get it in dollar shop) to clean it. If you want to clean it you can little bit of tamarind + salt and rub it by steel wool. It will come shining..

By the way I got good nonstick thick base tawa from walmart..its the best I have got so far..

Try to boil vinegar on tava and rub gently wire gauss bought from dollar store. u will see improvement.
