IF after applyignf or citizenship, one doesnt accept it, what happens?

Say i dont appear for the oath or dont go for test, does it get abandoned?

If you do not provide them a valid reason for your absence from the test or the oath ceremony, you loose your processing money ($200) and do not get the citizenship. And, if in future you want the citizenship, you have to reapply and all the process would start from the scratch. They will not take your PR away, if you do not accept the citizenship if that is what you are asking.
