Hi

I applied for PR in Mar 08 from Canada, and I have received the initial letter with file number, they have printed additional para stating that they are awaiting Ministers instructions. Once they get that then they will tell me/us how our application will be affected.

However, I came accross the news where it says ,CIC will process apps for those who are alredy working in Canada.



Any idea when the instructions will be isued by Minister ?

Good that you brought this topic in discussion.

What I had heard from few immigration consultants was that by the end of this month or begining of next month, immigration minister will declare a list of HOT professions. People in these HOT professions will be given priority and rest will be put in regular timeline. Nowadays this regular timeline seems quite long. Infact my case took long time to get cleared.

Anybody is aware of any new updates, please share.

I heard Oct 15 and if the elections are called then wait for one more month.

Applications with Arrange Employment are still being processed.

I applied in buffalo office, will they transfer all applications to Sydney ?

I mean applications received after 27th Feb 2008 ?
