Dear All,

I have failed the driving test for a second time.I took lessons with a good instructor but the number of practice sessions was not enough. I had been driving in NY for almost a year with no problem with my Indian driving license and have just a US learner's permit.

Both the times, I took here hardly 3 or 4 lessons and thus failed. Second time failure was just one "dangerous action"-trying to make a left turn on a signal that changed to Red.The examiner braked and that was it, I failed. I did not commit any other mistake but that "Dangerous mistake" was enough to fail me.

I live in Markham/Lawrence area(Scarborough). I need good instruction and can't afford to blow $60 bucks for rented car everytime.

Any helpful suggestions?

Thankyou

P.S. "Beautiful woman examiner next to me who was winking!" was just to pull some crowd to my message as I saw that there were so many messages in this thread that I feared my message would not be read and answered by helpful members. Sorry for this marketing stunt.I did not mean to fool you guys.Just that Iam desperate to improve.

P.S.S: I had a grouchy European old man(age of a grandfather) sitting next to me the second time and first time it was some old scornful fart again, this time from Guyana(Guayanese-Desi).v:cuss:

P.S.S.S: Wish I had a beautiful belle sitting next to me, sleeping and then waking up when I stop and saying to me "Ok, you cleared the exam!!" We can't have it all, can we? :(

I think the real reason you failed was because that 'grouchy European old man' and 'old guyanese fart' were also expecting the same (beautiful belle sitting next to them trying take the exam) and instead it was you
:D

1. Making a left turn as you described above is not "just one" dangerous action. It has serious consequences and therefore you were rightfully failed. Maybe, taking driving more serious might help you pass.

2. Most members read most threads and provide valuable feedback. Unfortunately, you silly thread topic will inevitably elicit comical response.

the rules exist for a reason. It is expensive but then find a reasonable class that will teach you. Going for hte test without being prepared is like leaving it to chance and will waste more money. True you may know how to drive but you need to learn for the test..just some advice...there are no short cuts in life.

being easygoing..wishing that there was a beautiful examiner is one thing..focus on getting a beautiful result you will see the difference. Attitude is sometimes everything!

I think you will fail...atleast 10 times ....keep trying...
just pray...

I do not need your wishes like this. If you are grouchy like that examiner, sit there with him. You will fail in life if you can't take a small joke. Anyways, time waste for me to even reply. But I dont want you to go scott free with a comment on me like that.

I had earlier posted a few artciles seriously for help and no one responded. I do not blame anyone. Everyone are helping each other. I failed the test today and so was a bit depressed. Also, desis dont have a sense of humour too, I know, I erred here judgementally.

It is not that I do not know that rules exist for a reason. I have nothing against those examiners. It was my fault, I know. I have typed, I need to improve myself. Iam not boasting or trying to act smart anywhere. I just needed the contact info of some good instructor for my area.

Iam taking driving more seriously, dont base your comments on the joke or the funny title. If you were in my position you would know how difficult it for me, given my jobless situation and two newborn kids!
