Does anyone know what goods (in terms of Rs. value) is one eligible to carry custom duty free to India from Canada? If you are a PR or Canadian Citizen with PIO
Thank you
The limit is Rs 25000. But I have heard these days in India they do not care much about that either.
Check this http://www.cbec.gov.in/customs/cs-act/formatted-htmls/cs-rulef.htm
Now this is from 2006 and I believe they have not changed the allowances.
