What would you do if you win $35 million in 6/49?
1) To start with, I will buyout/takeover 'Canadian Desi' website.
2) Make myself the Moderator-General of CD.
...and trouble the 'troublesome' posters.
3) Make it a rule for all posters to put their real photo instead of meaningless avatars.
4) Award and honor TK with the 'Most interesting poster' plaque.

which is > 15M

Ok guys………… here’s the calculation for combinations

(Remember go for combinations & not permutations)
According to this, if I want to have all the combinations of 6 numbers in 649 lotto the formula is
49_C_6 = 49! / 6!x(49-6)! = 49!/6!x43! =13.98 million combinations
Imagine $2 for each combinations, so it is around 28 million dollars for the whole lotto.

This 14m combination is correct number. We already been through this
We dump the idea after siting following challenges, considering the fact that it needs investment of 28Millions
* what if there is a 'Split' !
* need to mark all those combinations !
* need to pass on to retailer to print the ticket. tickets needs to be entered at thousands different locations to get through in time.
We abondon discussion at this point ...

You must be really kidding when you say that someone would actually think of doing this. Not to mention if someone actually does it, he won’t get the prize as the investigating team would somehow find that trick & abandoned the prize, considering a false attitude towards entering a lottery draw.
I remember a movie recently named “21” starring Kevin Spacey where he teams up some students who were genius in maths & planned to cheat a casino in black jack game. He even succeeded in doing so, but it is considered to be against the law. The worst part was he didn’t revealed the trick in the movie or in DVD’s extra parts. I have heard a lot of this trick of black jack which is real if you are good in counting, but unfortunately don’t know how it works.

You are right I also forgot the correct formula, but did remeber it has to do with Permutation & Combination. Anyhow, since I don't have enough money to buy 13+ million tickets, so don't care.
I don't know of any such rule, but if you know please do provide a link. Probably if lotto corporation knows about it, they probably will stop selling you ticket. Why somebody will buy so many tickets when there is always chance of splitting the prize with others. There probably are better ways to make money after investing about $28Million.

Also your comment about millionaires would only start playing lotto, also doesn't make sense because its against law to play lotto for business or irrelevant purpose. When you win a lotto of big prize there is a jury & investigating team which would check on you & the way you participated in the draw.
