I think the age of Gandhi inspired "Turn the other cheek" sentiment is now officially over. Israel is mulling demolishing the homes of "home grown" terrorists. I say India should not only do it but take it a step further by deporting every single immediate family member of any individual involved in subversive activities against India.

People need to learn that they are "Indian" before they are a "Hindu", "Muslim", "Sikh" "Christian " or anything else. Those who can not or will not learn this lesson have no business living there. They should be deported.

Easier said then done . xyz militancy has struck the country frequently and when it comes to a choice b/w religion and country , it becomes a difficult choice for few . India is in a unique situation trying to be secular and fighting gureilla type pseudo war .... its like trying to do justice despite getting bruised every time ............. and the vote bank ... thats a different story

I think we need leaders like AB Bajpayee once again who took a strong stance both at the Kargil and the Parliment attacks ...... force deters force ..... wonder what the UPA leaders would have done in those times ....

This is really a sad news. Unfortunately I believe the value for a life is gone in India. people forget abt this like other blasts after 2 days.

The worst of all the tv reporters jump up and down like on fire. They wont try to calm /help people but just question them.
The most wierd question that a cnn/ndtv guy asked a foriegn national "would you like to come back to India after this situation" ( he asked it abt 5 times atlast when the guy took a deep breath and answered "yes" )

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO CHANGE INDIA’S STAND FROM SECULAR COUNTRY TO ONLY HINDU NATIONS, I m sorry to say but most of those are Muslim terrorist – we should stop having soft corner again all Muslims – few Muslims may be a good people but when we see big pictures – I had to say root problem is internal Muslim community – who supports outsider- without internal support its almost impossible to succeed this kind of pre plan attack. Search each and every Muslims – do their back ground check, try to find any link between them- it will be hard step as well as it will have some opposite reaction and also it will take long time to clean the country but at the end it will be a good clean nation.

This issue cannot be solved by India alone, or by Israel alone or USA alone. Everyone has to recognize what the enemy is and stand together. When any of the above countries are expected to act against these situations with one hand tied, by other countries...its not going to work. If one expects Israel or USA to act with one hand tied why will they expect any different from India? The result will be that a right wing politician will come into power with a short term solution and the country will loose its standing in the international arena. The enemy will use the same fact to its maximum leverage.

The old alliances will not work for India. India's fate is tied into other countries facing a similar/common enemy. The sooner all the countries get together the easier it will be to solve the issues. Or else its all too easy for external vested interests to divert their resources from the afghan border to the indian one.
