We had our interview waived and medicals submitted on 31st Dec 2003. From the posts average waiting time looks to be 3 months but we have crossed it....
Can we contact CHC to query this? We applied from Dubai.
One point though.....my name was misspelt in the medical papers and we sent a correction request along with medical papers....could this be a reason for delay?? Help.....

Though normally you should receive passport request within 3 months. But sometimes it takes more time and maybe the name correction could be the reason for delay. But I guess there’s no harm in sending a fax to CHC.

I got mine along with a call for interview from CHC,Paris in Jul 2003 and I did the same in Aug. And upon my return to UAE, I recd my waiver (I wrote to them my inability to attend the same). I recd a ltr asking for an address in Paris or canada(the rules effected jurisdiction of CHCs in May 2003) which I sent on Mar 7th. There has been a silence for a month and I am keeping my fingers crosses.
I know that the validity of the meds is one year. But am afraid I will get less than a month to pack up!!!

Here is my sister's family's reverse chronological timeline
Apr 2004, Received stamped passport.
End of Nov 2004, Sent passport and medicals to CHC, New Delhi.
Nov 2004, Sent newly filled IRPA
Sep 2004, Received interview waiver and request for new IRPA forms.
Sep 2000, AOR
May 2000, Sent skilled worker immigration forms.
She did not take IELTS! Another friend of hers has a similar timeline. Hope this helps,
