India may be strong in Armed forces compared to Pak. But we have to realise that the Armed forces are controlled by leaders who have no national vision and are only bothered about caste, reservation and vote bank politics. This is the precise reason why the world is unwilling to whole heartedly support India in fighting Pak sponsored terror. How can they, when the Indian PM was afraid to even mention 'Pakistan' as the perpetrator and instead uses words like 'forign hand', 'non state actors' to refer to terrorists. How can they, when he sends New Year wishes to the Pak president. How can they, when Afsal Guru is found guilty in Parliament attack & awarded death sentence by SC while the Indian Govt is in the way of his execution.
On Pak side you have a govt that knows how to black mail the US in getting aid and support repeatedly. Sure they have a weaker armed force, but they are backed by thinktanks who know how to strategise, how to confuse the world, especially India, influence the world media and present themselves to the world.
I watched a small part of Musharaff interview on CNN recently and I hate to say that even though I hate his guts, I admired the way he denied every allegation and conviniently deviated the discussion in his favour. I have not seen one Indian leader do that.

India's problem, for the longest time has been Indians...you don't have to look far. Just look within.

It is the most divided nation on this planet IMO.

Divided in the name of religion
Divided in the name of caste
Divided in the name of class

Indians cannot stand the success of Indians. There is always, always hue and cry over someone's success. We just aren't able to complement one other from the heart and move on.

Edit: My point being...a divided government ruling a divided nation cannot take a concrete stance.

I don't know if there is concrete evidence for motives behind bombings in India but I'd hate for this post to become another discussion for India vs Pakistan.

My intent was to evoke some reflective thoughts on the state of affairs in general around this world... such a small planet and such chaos. Everyone's clamoring for space, fighting for whatever reason...time to listen to "Imagine"
