Hi Guys,

I've just joined this site, and since last few days Ive been reading stories, articles and other sections of this site. And lemme tell you that Im highly impressed at the content of this site. Ive yet to land... so for me, it helps a lot to know first-hand information from the people who've been there - done it, rather than a heavenly image portayed by the Agents. Thanks a lot guys for all the inputs and I will surely add mine as well.

Now coming to the point, Im currently put up in MiddleEast and would like to know.. How do I ship my vehicle when I shift there for good. Does anyone know what documentation is required and what is the procedure? Have anyone done it before? If there is any link, on which I can follow-up?

Long story short sell you car as cars from the Middle East are not allowed into Canada. Also get a certificate from the Ministry of Transport of the ME country you are staying stating the period of time you have held a a driving license as then you can go directly fro you G license or else you have to start from scratch and that takes forvere...

Thanks for the inputs guys. Now, as you guys suggested, gettin' car from middle-east is not advisable, would you say the same for a motorcycle?
