Hi,
Our younger kid ( less than 3 years old) is a Canadian Citizen by birth.
His first passport was issued from Toronto for 3 years. Its going to expire soon. We would like to renew the same from India.
After reading the instructions from couple of web sites, including passport canada, we are slightly confused.
What is the correct procedure..?
Please see that both his parents are here in Toronto now.
We are still Permanent Resident only.
Is a guarantor required in such case ?
We will have to re-submit the proof of citizenship documents again ?
He is on a long term visa in India.

Hi,
Thanks for the URL.
It's very helpful. Looks like we will have to get the declaration from the guarantor from Toronto as before. But as mentioned, we the parents are here.
The document doesn't mention whether we can apply for the kid from India or it needs to be a local guardian there. Is there any standard format for authorizing the local guardian ?
