A couple of days ago, it was the Gai Mata - I'm neutral towards the Cow, in the sense I do not worship it, but neither do I do the opposite (whatever you call that). But personally I feel where half the population of the country does worship the Cow, I think the picture was uncalled for.
Again today (Jul 15th) there's a picture of 'Our toilets' - Sure enough it may be a reality in India, but on a website which is hosted miles away from our country in a foreign land, I don't think it is appropriate to put up such a picture.
Keep in mind the site is visited by many non-Indians, it just gives these people an opportunity to talk negatively about India.
How do other CD members feel about this.

Totally agree. Both the pics were in bad taste. May be Gujarati was using those toilets back home and is missing them now. But not every Indian is deprived of basic sanitation facilities for sure.
I am in total agreement with the OP.
I agree that these conditions exist in India and show the reality.
But I feel they are not quite appropriate in CD.
Just my two cents.
I don't think anybody needs to upload that kind of pictures. Every big city has a slum, it is not just India.
BTW...Non-Indians are aware of slums of India after 'Slumdog Millionaire'... so please upload good pictures guys...

Totally agree. I sent PM to Garvo right away after I saw 'Gai Mata' picture.
