Sudhish, I have to correct myself. Thanks for updating this posting.
What i meant was that Dhirubai Ambani came up from humble upbringing. He did not have a Masters degree or any higher education to speak of. He struggled his way through. He worked hard in and created an empire n Reliance group. Me referring to brains was in context to education. I just messed up my sentence there. Thanks.

That was a good suggestion and perhaps the most easy way to get to Canada, but considering below i wonder how many Canadian women would like to marry someone who is not steady especially if they have never met. Arranged marriage would be a good idea but then it has to be a 'wonder women' to accept someone who is not steady on his feet. Also depends what Ugot wants.

you would be better of in any place other than Canada. We are all struggling and the weather i tell you is very bad.
Thanks Nair. I know you have give your very honest opinion. As i keep reading on this forum i see most people seem to be unhappy in Canada. They talk about the 'goras' not letting them climb the ladder or one day return to India where the economy is beginning to boom.
There are very few happy ones who may disagree with you. The happy ones are the ones that i wonder about. Is it because they did not have to struggle as hard as most immigrants, and do they have thick skin that the cold does not bother them
Hey, if there's anything I could change about Toronto, its the weather. Shhh, but I'm working on it. I don't mind a couple of months of winter, but its be nice if it was warm otherwise.
Other than that, I'm one of the happy ones and for the record, I've struggled a lot too.
Being happy with your whereabouts isn't about whether you've struggled or not, its about whether you have vision to look beyond the struggle. In my experience, the state of comfort where you have a great job/life is so fragile, only fools dwell on it. Life throws a lot of curve balls at you, the trick is to enjoy the ones that you connect with and see humor in the ones you miss.
I know, I know I'm being corny , but the roots of the thread are rather melodramatic anyways...
