We are planning to move to US on H1/H4 visa. My husband has H1 visa and I (and elder son) have H4 dependent visa. These visas were issued more than two years ago and we plan to move couple of months before its expiry. The move got delayed due to various reasons.
We were blessed with another son last year (born in Canada) and he does not have H4 visa on his passport. Can the new born get the H4 depedent visa at Canadian airport while we all move to US? If not, what are our options. Please suggest.
The H4 status can be granted to the cdn passport holder at any US port of entry (It is just a stamp since no visa sticker is required for canadians). Make sure that you are having all necessary documents for the H4.

Thanks Cdn_dude. I hope Canadian Passport, birth certificate and copy of my husband's H1 visa copy will be enough documents. Any other document I need to take?
Mine (and my elder son) H4 visa is also on Indian passport (which is now cancelled) and now both of us are Canadian citizen. I don't think it will be an issue as long as I carry my cancelled Indian passport. Any suggestions.

Carry all documents that you had with you when your H4 was issued on your Indian passport. Keep your marriage certificate handy.
