Hi
Dan:I do accept that it sounds confusing...Probably it was for us too..
But hope you do understand the diffcult dilemma we faced...probably coming to India, gave us some time in habd to think as to what we loose and what we gain, when we are in this part of the world rather than there...
Thanks for the suggestions though..Yes hopefully we will be landing in Alberta again...
you have to be mentally very very tough to stick in canada under any circumsances, even if you have to see your savings going down the drain, take it in right positive way and struggle, I tell you it is not easy for everybody. As you know, we came10 months back and now 40% settled, still my husband is not happy about the situation to start from scratch or go back to school. Mind you it is not easy for us, mental stress, family tension, weight loss etc etc.
You should always take as this is not the end of the world. My advise would be take risk only if your husband is mentally strong, mature enough to understand that it takes 2-3 years of struggle to succeed, plus lots and lots of patience. Talk to him and prepare him. gauge his reaction. Brainwash him that, it is struggle for initial 2-3 years and under no circumstances you will return.
all the best for your struggle as well as for your success.

I hope you also did the cost benefit analysis of the struggles and risks you are planning to undertake
