well I dont know if you guys know, Canada has been officially the longest immigation business entity, since early 1800s. They had shops/offices in England as immigration centers to lure poorer British families to come and live there.It didnt worked and Canadains were not comfortable calling white east europeans as they treated then inferior. However for centuries they kept calling immigrants and the crux is the population is declining every year despite so many immigrants coming in. Either the local population cant produce kids or simply people move on and use this place only as a springboard to move to other countries.
I feel latter is the truth as this is primarily unhabitable, cold land and is lucky to have US by its side. If it had been Mexico God knows who would have come here.Cheers.
