Can i add something in the goods to follow list after i have arrived. I want to add my car which is in dubai. Is there any procedure to get it done ( may be some fee). What are the custom charges on the car to be imported .

Not a good idea to import a car into Canada. Wait and see what the others have to say. For now have a look at this link.

I was told that cars in GCC are made as per GCC Specifications (suitable to Climate in Gulf countries) and hence there might be major modifications that one may be compelled to do at the time of completing registration formalities. Also, many features that are requierd in automobiles such as heater, tyre specs etc. are completely different in cold countries compared to Gulf. Even I am interested to ship my car from Oman to Canada but many advised me not to. Also, cars could be cheaper and better in Canada than what we find in Gulf region.

I am interested in see a detailed discussion on this (even weblinks will do).
