Nikki Haley was born Nimrata Randhawa in Bamberg, South Carolina on January 20, 1972. Her parents, Dr. Ajit and Raj Randhawa, are Indian Punjabi Sikh immigrants from Amritsar, India.
Nikki became a Methodist at the age of 24. Looks like she has followed Bobby Jindal.

What is something about Republican party that attracts people of Indian origin?
Bobby or Nikki - They both are pro-life.
Just shows that your religion and beliefs still matters in a democracy.
