i applied for my parents immigration in August 2007, Hopefully i will heard from CIC with in 2-3 months,
Few questions what all documents should i keep ready i mean T4 slips and what else, I think i lost my 2008 T4 slips how can i get duplicates of them ,
Any number to call?

In most cases, you just get a letter from CIC stating that your sponsorship is approved and asking your parents to send the supporting documentation to the local consulate. Only, if your reported income was borderline or very close to the cut-off criteria, would they ask you to prove your financial ability again.
we sent sponsorship appl for my mother in law in 2007. since then my husband has left that job and is self employed. i could not work out the lico in such cases.
also my son has started working and would like to co sponsor. what are the implications and possibilities (as well as pitfalls), please?
