I am getting a contract which will pay me net $$ monthly. this will be a part time source of income for me. As this will require some commuting etc I was wondering what is the best way to go for this ?
Should i register a company under my name and then i can claim fuel expenses during the tax return ? what other items can i claim ? Is it even smart to register a company, as this contract will pay be around 1000 a month net. or would it better to just simply declare this earning at the time of taxation, can i claim any expenses then ? any help will be great as i am quite new to contract type work.
Thank You

Cheers!
If it is a part time income, you may not need to register a company.
When your expenses will increase, then registering a company will be beneficial!
