Suspicious Fire at Tennessee Mosque Site Under Investigation by FBI

The Ground Zero Mosque is stirring quite a controversy in the U.S. However, it is not the only mosque that is drawing criticism. A mosque site in Tennessee has also been the target of a growing controversy, and a suspicious fire has added to that debate.
Suspicious Fire at Tennessee Mosque Site Damages Construction Equipment
The fire at the site of mosque caused damage to some of the construction equipment at the location. According to Yahoo News, heavy construction equipment at the site was doused in flammable liquid and set on fire early on Saturday. Because of the suspicious fire, police are now patrolling the area 24 hours a day.
The fire had not officially been ruled as arson by the FBI, but anybody who has any information is asked to call in their tips. They do suspect arson in the fire. Unfortunately, this fire is not the first issue that the site has seen. There was an incident of vandalism in which a sign was painted “Not Welcome” and torn in two. The FBI is involved in the investigation because it may turn into a civil rights violation.
Muslim’s in the area report that this is the first time that they have dealt with problems regarding their religion in the 30 years they have been in the area. They are afraid that they are being targeted because of the Ground Zero Mosque controversy. In fact, some people are concerned that there is a nationwide movement against Muslims in the U.S.
Ultimately, this debate goes to the heart of what the United States is all about. This country is a country based on the idea of religious freedom, and there needs to be true religious freedom in the U.S. It is unacceptable for people to try to limit Muslims in practicing their faith.

Safe if you follow the rules. Unsafe if you try to do unlawful things
Looks like things are interchanging between east and west...India kind of gone thru (may be going thru) communal violences whereas it seems it is just starting in US. Who knows the Muslim center could result into Babri masjid controversy in near future. History repeats itself but this time it seems it is repeating at opposit corners of the world.
(Economy booming in east, fragile in west. Communal riots reduced in east could pick pace in west,..population and corruption..soon to follow ...blah blah blah)
