I don't see why QC is being pampered. It will never be allowed to form a separate regardless of how many referendums are held and how many Quebecois vote for it.
Even the French regard them with amusement; they need to understand the reality and work best within that.

I am not even sure if they know what a 'nation' means? Can they afford to have thier own defence system, the borders, the government, the man power to support a fleet of government officials, etc..etc...else they will just get lost in the world as another small nation like many small countries of the now broken up USSR. The whole batch of those Quebecois should be sent to India and show them how they can still live in the same country with thier own language and the special status should be put to an end to - once for all.
