So this guy pleads guilty to take the advantage of the liberal Canadian justice system. Now, we taxpayers are on the hook for supporting him while he is in jail and for his rehabilitation into the Canadian society.

As I understand, his other family members are in Canada on welfare. It does not matter whether he is in jail or out in society, he would still be burden on taxpayer. Ideally, he should be sent back to Afghanistan to rejoin his brothers in arms there and then send a drone!

Or simply send him on a drone and get two for the price of one
Seriously, keeping him 8 years for the trial is an abuse especially, in a country that preaches human rights. If he had to be tried and sentenced, I am sure they could have done it long time ago and perhaps given him a 16 year sentence.
