I thank everyone who advised me earlier on my situation. I had another query and wanted to check with you all before acting on it.

I landed in Toronto in Oct'08, but came back to the US right after. Now I want to return within the next 2-3 months. I bought a car in the US in Jan'07, but did not show it on the "Goods to follow" list upon landing. I want to drive the car when I return to canada for good.

Is there any way I can avoid paying the hefty import taxes on the vehicle ?
