The questions below was found in many forum but couldn't find answer, I have again raised same questions as I am on the same boat.
Folks,
Can someone shed light on the following problem?
Want to land with wife & son and return to US to work before moving to
Canada permanently in January 2006.
My landing has Medical Surveillance conditions attached, needs to report to medical authorities within 30 days.
My question is:
1. What exactly happens for medical surveillance cases?
Is there any chance they might deny landing if I say
we plan to return in a week ( we are planning to fly to toronto on thursday, July 28 & fly back to USA on Tues-aug 2nd) ?
2. Are we free to return to US in a week? Is there any
chance, Canadian authorities might compel me to stay and complete
the medical formalities, whatever time it takes, even months or more?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Pls reply. It's very urgent....advice apprecited.
Thx

Hi Vijay,
The doctor hve done your medical have to tell you what is wrong with your medical. That is courtusy; as it's realted to your health they should tell you.
but you should also ask to the doctor where you did your medical;if you haven't ask them they will not tell you. canada immigartion genearlly for privacy reason they don't metioned medical reason in your papers;otehrwise any immigration office can read that..and it's privacy issue.
if you haven't call doctor and asked them they will not tell you. once you know the problem send me PM.
The link given by akhan explains everything. What exactly is not clear to you?
You are supposed to report to a public health service within 30 days of your landing.

The Cynic
Dear Cynic,
I wanted some advice/ suggestion - politely.
As mentioned earlier , sorry for being ignorant. This is not the procedure one do each & every day, so I only wanted genuine reply so that I can plan my visit accordingly, thanks to Binal, akhan73ca for that.
Mine was simple question and I only wanted to know if it is possible to complete the required formalities within 4 working days as I have to return back to work due to some work deadline.
I wanted o be clear that within these 4 days it is possible to get appointment with DMP or else it's not possible to fulfill the 30 days conditions on this visit, which could be only answer more promptly by person gone thru same procedure.
Reading your blunt answer not only me but other future prospect immigrants like me are also sure you are amongst the one who doesn't want to help others but confuse them. You only want to reply irrespective of your knowledge and consider u r self to be SENIOR DESI in the forum.
Thanks....
